Sleep Warrior: Aim For Those Precious Eight Hours

People who live an active lifestyle sleep an average of six hours a night.  And while that is enough to carry them through their busy days, that still shouldn’t stop them from aiming for eight.  And this goes double for people who work nights and sleep days. Studies on sleep deprivation have shown that for sedentary people, less than eight hours of sleep can cause problems during the time they’re awake.  These problems can range from physical to mental, to emotional.  The physical problems can lead to minor inconveniences such as lethargy or nausea to more serious health issues such as cardiovascular diseases.  It has also been observed that people who lack sleep are moodier and less focused.
